Car trip

hey folks!

Check it out..

Egali dublin organized  a car trip the last weekend.

First stop after 1:30 hour, Dunmore Cave:
In 928, the Dunmore Cave was the site of a Viking massacre. Mention of the cave was made in the 9th century Irish Triads

From Kilkenny to Cashel:

According to local mythology, the Rock of Cashel originated in the Devil's bit, a mountain 20 miles(30 km) north of Cashel when St. Patrick banished Satan from a cave, resulting in the Rock's landing in Cashel.

From Cashel to Mitchelstwon:

2 Day::

Ring of Kerry:

The Ring of Kerry is a route which meanders around the Iveragh Peninsula, mostly skirting the coast. 176 kilometre's in circumference, it takes about 4 hours to complete, without stops. Drive from Killarney towards Kenmare on the N70 and follow the signs. You will pass St Finan's Bay, Bolus Head and Doulus Head, with the ring ending at Killorglin. In places the views are sensational.

3 Day:

County CORK.

Blarney castle:
At the top of the castle lies the Stone of Eloquence, better known as the Blarney Stone. Tourists visiting Blarney Castle may hang upside-down over a sheer drop to kiss the stone, which is said to give the gift of eloquence. There are many legends as to the origin of the stone, but some say that it was the Lia Fáil—a magical stone upon which Irish kings were crowned.
